Punta Mita Chef’s Table Series 2019

One of the hallmarks of Punta Mita living is the enjoyment of the culinary experiences found in our destination. This upcoming season, Punta Mita is expanding the opportunities for extraordinary dining with the new Punta Mita Chef’s Table Series 2019.

Argentina revisits Mexico for this II Edition of Punta Mita Mita Chef’s Table , offering culinary enthusiasts a unique chance to savor the flavors of Argentina with 3 of the country’s leading Chefs. From Cordoba, Javier Rodriguez; Buenos Aires, Fernando Mayoral and Fernando Trocca hosted by their fellow countryman our Chef Pato Pérsico as they relight their  grills  in Punta Mita for a series of Dinners and Cooking Classes in and around Punta Mita – from #Sufito & Kupuri to the II ever dinner celebrating the US Masters 2019 with a typical Argentine Asado by the 3 Chefs on the famous Tail of the Whale 3B hole on Pacifico Course.

Dinner by Chef Javier Rodríguez, Chef/Owner of El Papagayo, Córdoba

Experience a menu of textures, colors and flavors that are the hallmark of Rodríguez’s cuisine, highlighting dishes cooked with traditional Argentinian grill and wood-fire techniques and precise execution.

  • Sunday, April 14th – 6:30 p.m. | Pop Up Restaurant on the Tail of the Whale -Hole 3B, Pacifico Course

An incredible dining experience to celebrate the Masters, these three chefs from Argentina come together in culinary mastery. The Tail of the Whale transforms into a pop-up restaurant for a once in a lifetime meal, as Chefs Fernando Trocca, Javier Rodriguez and Fernando Mayoral join forces to prepare their version of an Argentine Asado in one the hole’s bunkers, served greenside to the sounds of tango music as the sun sets over the Pacific. Last years Dinner was for many one of the all time culinary highlights in Punta Mita and is not to be missed!

Cooking Class by Chef Fernando Mayoral – Empanadas & Chimichurri

Chef Fernando, who runs his own cooking school in Buenos Aires, shares a few of his favorite recipes with us. Empanadas and BBQ with Chimichurri sauce are famous Argentinian specialties and Chef Mayoral will teach you the secrets of making them perfectly every time. This is an exclusive event, free of charge for Punta Mita Club Members, so come join us for a fun cooking class paired with a delicious glass of Malbec.
