Some days at the beach are simply better than others. The Punta Mita Beach Festival returns for its eleventh edition on July 4th, bringing together the best of ocean sport, friendly competition, and unhurried time with the people who matter most.

The day begins on the water with Stand Up Paddle lessons led by accomplished paddler Verónica Nava — open to first-timers and seasoned paddlers alike. Alongside it, Beach Tennis gets underway on the sand, mixing high-energy cardio with genuine family fun. By midday, the 1K Family SUP Race invites everyone from kids to grandparents to paddle together, followed by the Championship Starship Racing, where mixed teams compete on oversized SUPs in one of the festival’s most anticipated traditions.

The afternoon brings Windsurfing and Wind Foil exhibitions, where experts take to the water in a display worth watching, and rounds out with a Family Beach Volleyball tournament as the sun begins its descent.

Throughout the day, Executive Chef David Vidales and his culinary team curate a Gourmet Beach Experience — signature drinks and culinary bites available from noon until 5:00 pm.

This is the festival in its truest form: active, inclusive, and entirely unhurried.

Algunos días en la playa son simplemente mejores que otros. El Festival de Playa de Punta Mita regresa en su XI edición el 4 de julio, reuniendo lo mejor del deporte en el océano, la sana competencia y el tiempo sin prisa junto a quienes más importan.

El día comienza en el agua con clases de Stand Up Paddle impartidas por la experta Verónica Nava, abiertas tanto para quienes lo prueban por primera vez como para quienes ya tienen experiencia. Al mismo tiempo, el Beach Tennis anima la arena con energía y espíritu familiar. Al mediodía, la Carrera Familiar de 1K en SUP invita a participar desde niños hasta abuelos, seguida de la Carrera Starship, donde equipos mixtos compiten en súper SUPs en uno de los momentos más esperados del festival.

La tarde trae consigo exhibiciones de Windsurf y Wind Foil protagonizadas por expertos en el agua, y cierra con un torneo de Voleibol Playa Familiar a orillas del mar.

A lo largo del día, el Chef Ejecutivo David Vidales y su equipo culinario presentan una Experiencia Gourmet en la playa — bebidas de autor y delicias gastronómicas disponibles de mediodía a las 5:00 pm.

Este es el festival en su forma más genuina: activo, para todos y completamente sin apuro.
