The Day of Death is one of Mexican most famous colorful and indigenous traditions. In the pre-Hispanic culture, the dead were still members of the community, kept alive in memory and spirit, and during the Day of the Death, they temporarily returned to Earth. It aims to celebrate life and death by demonstrating love and respect for the deceased family members.
