Punta Mita Chef’s Table – Special Dinner by Chef Yasuo Asai
This Saturday, February 29th, Punta Mita will once again welcome the incredible Chef Yasuo Asai to delight the palates of our community with a Table d ’Hote menu inspired by his heritage at the fabulous scenario of Pacifico Beach Club.
Chef Asai was born in Japan and, as a constant traveler, discovered his love for food as a student. At only age 23, he decided to travel to New York to learn about living and cooking in “another world”. After having worked for the Hyatt hotel chain for several years, Chef Yasuo opened the doors of his own restaurant, Asai Kaiseki Cuisine, where he creates authentic Japanese food with a touch of Mexican culture and flavor.
Short rib, chayote, onion and carrot stew.
Black cod with miso sauce, sautéed spinach and oyster mushroom.
Fried chicken marinated with sweet vinegar, served with tartare sauce.
Fried rice with vegetables and egg.
