Punta Mita Chef’s Table Series 2019 – Matthias Fong

One of the hallmarks of Punta Mita living is the enjoyment of the culinary experiences found in our destination. This upcoming season, Punta Mita is expanding the opportunities for extraordinary dining with the new Punta Mita Chef’s Table Series 2019.

The Pacifico Beach Club is thrilled to welcome Sal Howell founder and owner of River Café , Calgary along with her Executive Chef Matthias Fong and members of the River Café team for our 1st Punta Mita Chefs table of 2019.

A little story on River Café : not many fine-dining restaurants have been around for 27 years, let alone weathered two natural disasters (floods), as well as consistently being rated as one of the best eateries in the city. Founder and owner Sal Howell has been a true trend setter when it came to supporting the farm-to-table movement and sustainability awareness in Calgary, and her dedication to this mandate has only grown over the years.  A favorite for many of our Punta Mita Calgarians we hope you will come and enjoy a touch of River Café in Punta Mita in the Pacifico Grill Latino.

Chef Matthias following a few days sourcing the best tasting local ingredients in and around Punta Mita Matthias will prepare a small a la carte menu for all to enjoy in Punta Mita.

  • January 25th – Fish to Table with Chef Matthias Fong

Spend a morning fishing with Chef Matthias after  which the catch of the day will be prepared for you and friends. A unique opportunity to learn the value and understand the true philosophy behind River Café.  Includes 4 hours fishing & lunch at Pacifico Beach Club for up to 6 people.
